Hi, I'm Katie.

I've always believed that home is more than four walls — it's the feeling you get when everyone you love is gathered together.

Long before I ever made an heirloom board, I was obsessed with beautiful, inviting spaces. I could spend hours rearranging furniture, styling shelves, or dreaming up ways to make a room feel a little warmer. Interior design wasn't just something I enjoyed — it was how I made a house feel like home.

Life has taken me on a beautiful journey. My husband and I have built a blended family, and if there's one thing our home has taught us, it's that the best memories are rarely the perfectly planned ones. They're the busy dinners around the kitchen island, the holiday traditions that grow year after year, and the conversations that happen long after the food is gone.

Those moments became the inspiration behind Katie Lynn Homes & Design.

As I designed spaces for our own home, I found myself searching for pieces that were both beautiful and meaningful — items that didn't get tucked away in a cabinet but became part of everyday life. I wanted serving boards that were just as stunning displayed on the counter as they were covered with fresh bread, charcuterie, or holiday treats surrounded by family.

When I couldn't quite find what I envisioned, my husband and I decided to create them ourselves.

Today, every board we make carries the same hope: that it becomes part of your family's story. Maybe it sits on your kitchen counter every day, welcomes friends with a charcuterie spread, or gets passed around during Christmas dinner for years to come. However it's used, we hope it helps create the kind of moments that become treasured memories.
